Sure, you all have still not forgotten that Funke Adesiyan was one of the few Nollywood actors who braved venturing into politics but unfortunately the beautiful actress who’s a staunch PDP member could not make the House of Assembly seat which she eyed in Oyo State. Anyway, that’s not the gist for now, the rumour flying around is about the whereabouts of the bubbly actress and while some gossip merchants have been insinuating that, Funke has gone low key as a result of the outcome of the last election, we can tell you for free that, the intelligent lady is on the path of career building. We have it on good authority that, Funke is in far-away God’s own country, USA where she’s presently studying Directing & Film Making at the prestigious New York Film Academy. Your darling National Enquirer however found out how true this is and we’re able to speak with her. In her words, “yes ooo…am here in the US, class has started, am at the New York Film Academy studying Directing & Film Making, thanks so much for your concern.” Very soon, upon graduation, Funke will join the league of other like minds and Nollywood top gurus such as Stephanie Linus, Kunle Afolayan etc who’re alumni of the great Film Academy.
