Star Boy artiste, Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a
Wizkid won’t forget in a hurry, his ordeal in the hands of some hoodlums when
he stormed a UK club to perform the other day.
According to our source who was at the scene of the incident where
he was attacked, the talented entertainer was molested and robbed by some touts
pretending to be fans as he was trying to leave after performing and partying
with some friends.
“They initially approached him acting as if they were his fans
while he tried leaving the club in the midst of his two friends but before
anyone could say ‘Jack Robinson’, Wizkid had been mugged to the surprise of
everyone”, the furious source recounted.
It was further revealed that the multiple award winning singer was
stabbed before being dispossessed of his $10,000 neck piece.
“He was later rushed back into the club by the
security guards even though he already lost his very expensive neck piece to
them and sustained a minor injury on his hand”, the source further explained.
We however understand that
the musician was escorted through the underground park as he left in a private
car as against the Limousine arrangement that had been initially put in place in
the wee hours of the morning.
However, Wizkid is believed to have put the experience behind him
at least for now as the artiste left London last night 25th of February
2015 and currently in Gambia.
The entertainer performed
some hours ago at the Banjul stadium where he thrilled the excited audience
with his usual energetic performance.
